Recent Conversations

Sorry, I have been very tardy in noting appreciation of all your contributions in recent months and weeks. There have been CBS team-ups with Christian Aid Scotland at Cathcart Baptist Church, Bearsden New Kilpatrick Parish Church, in Easterhouse and I believe, further afield. Hopefully some details, reactions and write-ups might follow. This is very much work in progress. Watch this space.... And big thanks to all participants.

Gospel Power, Roles and Values: Diocesan Pilgrimage Day, St Mary's Cathedral, Glasgow, 15th Feb 2012

Maureen Russell and Roy Henderson joined a group of travellers hailing from Ayrshire, Renfrewshire and  other parts at St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral, Glasgow, on Saturday 25th February. This small, lively group of eight or so pondered Mark 10.35ff  leading to some searching questions and thoughtful discussion about the nature of power, Gospel roles and values in church and beyond. The response and participation of the group were remarkably strong and left us all with much food for thought.

Just Scripture ... so far...

By all accounts these studies have been stimulating and provocative ... in a good way of course. Tonight's gathering is in Easterhouse Baptist Church at 7.00pm.
